We are delighted to announce that the Wick Dynamos Juniors Tournament that will take place on Saturday 4th and Sunday 5th May 2024.
Age Groups and Dates
All age groups based on 2023/24 (e.g. this season)
Entry Fee
£50 per team
Payment must be received within 14 days of entering the tournament. Teams withdrawing 4 weeks prior to the tournament agree to forfeit their entrance fee
Squad Sizes and Game Length
Under 6, Under 7, Under 8 and the Inclusive Age Groups will be 5 a-side with a maximum squad of 10 players
Under 9 to Under 14 will be 6 a-side with a maximum squad of 10 players
Under 15 to Under 18 will be 7 a-side with a maximum squad of 10 players
Format
The Inclusive Teams and U6 teams will play non-competitive 5 aside matches on the indoor football pitches at the arena and will receive a memento of the day.
U7-U18 will be playing competitive matches with semi-finals and finals to decide the tournament winners in every age group, however the U7 and U8 teams will also receive mementos for the day no matter where they place overall.
We are planning to have two groups per competitive age group with each group consisting of 8 teams, we strongly encourage early registration as in previous years the tournament has filled up very quickly. We will operate on a first come first served basis and the only way to reserve a place is to enter through the website.
Team Registration on each day will be at the control tent from 8:30am. All Teams must be registered by 9:30am as the first game in each group will Kick Off at 10am.
Car Parking
Parking will be at Grundon’s Recycling center and is £3 per car on the day (please tell all your supporters to bring cash as we cannot take card payments on the gate) and will include a tournament program, there is limited parking so please car share where possible. Blue Badge holders can park at Arun Sports Arena
