The Brockenhurst FC Youth Group is excited to announce their first Girls Football Festival on Bank Holiday Monday, 6th May.
Our event aims to ignite the passion for football in girls aged 7 through to 14, of all levels and abilities.
Combining matches and skills training, each 2 hour session will give girls the opportunity to learn and improve their skills and take part in fun, competitive games with other girls in their age group.
The event is open to teams and to individuals (whom we will put into teams on the day). So come along with your team, your friends or your family and get involved in the Beautiful Game!
Age Groups and Dates
Registration opens 30mins before each session.
All age groups based on 2023/24 (e.g. this season)
Entry Fee
£30 per team (6-9 players)
£5 per individual (see separate link to register)
Cancellations after 1st April 2024 will not receive a refund.
Squad Sizes and Game Length
6-a-side with a maximum of 9 in a squad.
Individuals will be combined into teams on the day.
Format
The event will operate around a carousel of a minimum of 3 activities within each hour (eg: first hour: 1. Skills, 2. Match, 3 Skills; second hour: 1. Skills, 2. Skills, 3 Match.).
Matches will follow FA Royals Youth League Rules.
Points will be awarded as follows: Win: 3 points, Draw: 1 point & Loss: 0 points
Prizes given to all participants.
Refreshments
Food, drinks and ice creams will be available on the day from a range of food trucks and our delicious BBQ stations.
Spectators can also make use of our club house where other live sport will be broadcasted on screens.
Remember to bring / grab a plastic cup if you plan to take your drink outside and continue enjoying the games.
